THE SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST

Many of our children make their first Holy Communion through their school, but not all and if you would like to find out more about the preparation Fr. McGillycuddy is available after Mass.  

Parents helping their children to prepare for the immense gift of receiving Jesus in the Eucharist might appreciate this leaflet on the Holy Eucharist which provides lots of discussion points for children (credit: Fr. Tim Finigan). 

 “Friendship with Jesus” is a beautifully illustrated children’s book which contains quotations from the Pope as he speaks to children preparing for their first Holy Communion.  It is available from the Catholic Truth Society.
